Addressed to: Immigration and Naturalization Service (state Port of
Entry if known)
Should be printed on company letterhead.
Should contain:
- Job title and short description of duties
- Start date
- Description of hiring company
- Information supporting hiring company's ability to pay employee
- Normal place of employment (address)
- Remuneration (pay)
- Statement acknowledging that the position is temporary
- Statement that the position is conditional upon granting of TN-1
status
- State Normal requirements for the position

We would like to offer Mr John Doe the position of Computer
Systems Consultant on a temporary basis for an initial period of
one full year, and request that you grant him entry in status
TN-1 under the terms of NAFTA. We would like him to start with

Using his skills as a Systems Analyst, he will perform the
following duties -
